Leadership
Welcome to Hymax Industries
Your Gateway to Sustainable Building Products
Situated in Bharuch, one of the oldest and culturally rich cities in India, Hymax Industries was founded by Mr. Vishnubhai A. Patel, driven by a commitment to a greener and cleaner India. With decades of observation in the construction industry, he envisioned the introduction of green concrete products derived from industrial waste processes, causing zero environmental damage. All our products are by-products as they are repurposed from waste. These green substitutes contribute to recycling and reusing waste materials that would otherwise end up in landfills. They are not only environmentally friendly but, due to their innate capability, they use optimum resources and save costs.
Our sustainable product lineup includes
- Ground Granulated Blast
- Microfine
- Copper Slag
- Micro Silica
- Fly Ash
- Blast Furnace Slag
Join us in building a sustainable future, one brick at a time, with our pledge to be carbon-free.
FAQ
Frequently Asked
Questions
1. How are green concrete materials different from regular concrete?
Sustainable construction materials are sourced as by-products from blast furnaces, a waste by-product that conserves new resources and saves energy due to their inherent properties. In contrast, regular concrete is not made from waste but is processed specifically for construction work.
2. Is the quality of GGBS superior to Portland cement?
In many European countries, GGBS is favored over Portland cement due to its excellent durability, extended lifespan for buildings, improved workability, and reduced risk of cracking. Additionally, its resistance to sulfate and chloride attacks helps prevent concrete deterioration which increases the lifespan of the building.
3. Can the use of GGBS earn carbon credits?
Since GGBS is recognized by LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), you can initiate the process to receive certification as part of earning carbon credits.
4. What is the cost difference between GGBS and normal cement?
GGBS is more economical than normal concrete as it is a by-product and requires less quantity, leading to cost savings.
